Deep Relief Gel is a fast-acting topical pain relief solution designed to alleviate muscle and joint pain. This 50 g tube contains a dual-action formula combining the power of ibuprofen and levomenthol. Ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain, while levomenthol provides a cooling sensation that soothes the affected area and offers immediate relief.
Pharmacodynamics. dip Relief is a combined preparation for external use containing ibuprofen and menthol of natural origin. Ibuprofen – a derivative compound of phenylpropionic acid – is a representative of the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory effect, which is due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthetase. the effect of levomenthol, an optical isomer of menthol, is due to reflex reactions associated with irritation of sensitive nerve endings in the skin. menthol stimulates skin nociceptors. as a result, peptides are released, which have a vasodilating effect. the drug Dip Relief has a distracting, irritating effect and relieves pain.
Pharmacokinetics. Ibuprofen is well and quickly absorbed through the skin when applied topically. A very small amount enters the systemic bloodstream. Cmax of ibuprofen in the blood plasma is reached 2 hours after the use of the drug and is 0.6 μg/ml. The amount of absorption of ibuprofen with local application is ≈5% of the amount of absorption with oral administration.
Deep Relief is recommended for pain relief and inflammation reduction in rheumatic, muscle and joint pain, spine pain, as well as pain and swelling due to damage, sprained ligaments and sports injuries.
For external use only. the sealed hole of the tube must be pierced with a spike located in the upper outer part of the cap.
For each application, use 1-4 cm of gel from a tube containing 50 or 100 g of gel, and 4-10 cm from a tube containing 15 g of gel. Apply the gel to the painful area followed by light rubbing until completely absorbed. If necessary, apply up to 3 times a day, but not more often than every 4 hours. If no improvement is observed after 2 weeks, you should consult a doctor. Do not apply a bandage to the place of application of the gel.
Children. Deep Relief is contraindicated for use in children under 12 years of age.
Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, levomenthol, acetylsalicylic acid or any component of the drug or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including oral use); ba and the presence in the anamnesis of attacks of ba, urticaria or acute rhinitis caused by taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; application on damaged or bare (without epithelium) skin; simultaneous use on the same area with other drugs for local use; presence of local infection.
The following side effects may occur as local side effects: skin irritation, rash, itching, redness, dry skin, burning sensation, contact dermatitis and urticaria.

When treated with ibuprofen, the following hypersensitivity reactions were noted:
a) nonspecific allergic reactions and anaphylaxis;
b) hypersensitivity reactions from the respiratory tract, including BA, exacerbation of BA, bronchospasm and shortness of breath, can be expected in patients with a history of or currently suffering from bronchial asthma or allergic diseases;
c) rash, itching, urticaria, purpura, angioedema and rarely – bullous dermatosis (including epidermal necrolysis and polymorphic erythema).
The drug contains propylene glycol, which can cause skin irritation, so before use it is necessary to test the sensitivity on a small area of the skin.
Patients with impaired kidney function and with an active form of gastric and duodenal ulcers should consult a doctor before using the drug.
Do not apply the gel near the mucous membrane, on the lips, nostrils, areas near the eyes, genitals and anus, as well as on damaged or irritated skin. If the gel gets on the above-mentioned areas, it is necessary to immediately wash off the preparation with a large amount of clean water.

Adverse reactions can be reduced by using the minimum effective dose for the shortest possible period.
In the event of the appearance of any unwanted effects, as well as in the absence of improvement or deterioration of the patient’s condition, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
The use of ibuprofen, as well as other drugs that inhibit the synthesis of cyclooxygenase / prostaglandins, can disrupt fertility. Women who cannot get pregnant or who are undergoing fertility studies should refrain from using the drug.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The drug is not recommended for use in the I and II trimesters of pregnancy or during breastfeeding. The drug is contraindicated in the III trimester of pregnancy, because in the case of a sufficient systemic concentration, there is a risk of delayed delivery, premature closure of the ductus arteriosus, to increase the chances of bleeding in the mother and child, and an increased risk of edema in the mother.
The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or working with other mechanisms. Not installed.
With simultaneous use with acetylsalicylic acid or other drugs from the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, the risk of side effects increases. NSAIDs can interact with drugs designed to reduce inflammation and can increase the effect of anticoagulants, although this probability is very low for topical drugs.
