Indications for use:
Pertusyn is used as part of complex therapy for inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (bronchitis, tracheitis), pneumonia, whooping cough.
Contraindication:
Hypersensitivity (allergy) to the components of the drug, including bromides, decompensated cardiovascular insufficiency, arterial hypotension, severe atherosclerosis, anemia, kidney disease.
Method of application:
Pertusyn is used internally. adults and children over 12 years old take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day. children aged 2 to 6 years – 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml), from 6 to 9 years – 1 teaspoon (5 ml), from 9 to 12 years – 1 dessert spoon 3 times a day day.
For children under the age of 6, a single dose of the drug (1/2 teaspoon) must be dissolved in 20 ml (2 dessert spoons) of cooled boiled water. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor.
Storage conditions and expiration date:
Store in the original packaging at a temperature no higher than +25 degrees in a place protected from light. keep out of the reach of children.
Side effects:
With long-term use, bromism phenomena may occur: general weakness, impaired coordination of movements, bradycardia, skin rash, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, gastroenterocolitis.
