L-carnitine is an amino acid (vitamin B11 or vitamin T). The important role of carnitine in sperm maturation has been proven; lower concentrations of L-carnitine have been noted in patients with infertility compared to healthy men. L-carnitine is a source of energy for sperm, it increases the number of sperm, and also improves their motility.

L-arginine is an amino acid (1-amino-4-guanidinovaleric acid). Up to 80% of arginine is contained in ejaculate proteins, and its deficiency can cause pathozoospermia. Arginine takes an active part in the functioning of the genitals, stimulates the synthesis of testosterone in men. This amino acid stimulates the production of spermatozoa and increases their motility.
