Aspirin Cardio enteric-coated tablets of 100 mg each, 98 pcs.

Оригінальна ціна: $19.79.Поточна ціна: $17.99.

Aspirin Cardio 100 mg enteric-coated tablets are designed to support heart health by helping to prevent blood clots, reduce the risk of stroke, and lower the chance of heart attacks. The enteric coating allows the tablet to pass through the stomach without irritating the stomach lining, ensuring that the aspirin is absorbed in the intestines, which is gentler on the digestive system. Each tablet contains 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), a trusted medication that works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, reducing the formation of blood clots that can lead to cardiovascular events.

Aspirin Cardio is an antithrombotic agent

Indications for use

  • Prevention of thrombosis (prevention of reocclusion) after coronary artery bypass grafting, percutaneous transluminal catheter angioplasty and after arteriovenous bypass grafting in patients on dialysis.
  • Prevention of cerebrovascular stroke after the appearance of premonitory symptoms (transient ischemic attack).
  • Reducing the risk of developing thrombosis of coronary vessels after myocardial infarction (prevention of repeated infarction).
  • Prevention of myocardial infarction together with other measures of therapy in patients with a very high risk of developing cardiovascular events (according to the assessment of benefit and risk by the attending physician).
  • Unstable angina.
  • Prevention of arterial thrombosis after vascular operations.
  • As part of standard therapy of acute myocardial infarction.
  • Prevention of vascular occlusion in arterial occlusive disease.

Adverse reactions

Hemolysis and hemolytic anemia were observed in patients with severe forms of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.

Due to the anti-aggregation effect, the use of ASA may increase the risk of bleeding. Bleeding such as perioperative bleeding, hematomas, epistaxis, urogenital bleeding, gum bleeding was observed.

Rare or very rare, serious bleeding such as gastrointestinal bleeding, hemorrhagic stroke, especially in patients with uncontrolled arterial hypertension and/or in case of simultaneous use of anticoagulants, has been observed, which in some cases can be potentially life-threatening.

Method of application

If the doctor has not prescribed a different dosage, then it is recommended to use such dosages.

Cardiovascular indications without aortocoronary bypass and percutaneous transluminal catheter angioplasty: 1 × 100 mg/day.

Prevention of thrombosis after coronary artery bypass grafting and percutaneous transluminal catheter angioplasty: 100-300 mg/day.

Prevention of cerebrovascular stroke after the appearance of premonitory symptoms (TIA): 3 × 100 mg/day or 1 × 300 mg/day.

It is recommended to take the tablet with a small amount of liquid at least 30 minutes before eating. Drink with ½-1 glass of water. In order to avoid the release of the active substance before reaching the alkaline environment of the intestines, the tablets should not be crushed, broken or chewed.

Acute myocardial infarction: in case of acute myocardial infarction, use 200-300 mg of acetylsalicylic acid in intravenous or oral form with rapid release of acetylsalicylic acid (non-enteric form). Tablets of the enteric form of acetylsalicylic acid should be crushed or chewed before use to achieve faster absorption. After that, 100 mg of Aspirin Cardio® should be used daily.

Features of application

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

During the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, preparations containing acetylsalicylic acid should not be prescribed without a clear clinical need.

Acetylsalicylic acid is contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy.

During forced use as indicated during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued in case of regular use of high doses (> 300 mg/day).

Children

Aspirin Cardio® is not used in children and adolescents (up to 18 years of age) due to the lack of data on the effectiveness and safety of use in this category of patients.

The use of acetylsalicylic acid in children under the age of 16 can cause severe side effects (including Reye’s syndrome, one of the symptoms of which is constant vomiting).

The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

Aspirin Cardio® does not affect the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or other mechanisms.

Storage conditions

Store in a place inaccessible to children at a temperature not higher than 25 °C.
