Active ingredient: tincture of medicinal plant raw materials: spring adonis herb (Herba adonidus vernalis), common juniper fruit (Fructus juniperi communis), arnica flowers (Arnicae flos), mint leaves (Menthae piperitae folium);
1 bottle of drops contains tinctures of medicinal plant raw materials (1: 12.5): spring adonidus herb (Herba adonidus vernalis), common juniper fruit (Fructus juniperi communis), arnica flowers (Arnicae flos), mint leaves (Menthae piperitae folium) (extractant – ethanol 40%) – 30 ml or 50 ml;
1 ml of the drug contains 0.35 ml of ethanol.
Depression, history of alcoholism, simultaneous use of drugs containing alcohol, gastric and duodenal ulcers, cirrhosis of the liver, taking neuroleptics and tranquilizers, hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, severe bradycardia, blockade, glycoside intoxication, WPW syndrome, severe kidney disease.
Adults take 20-30 drops orally 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before or 1 hour after meals. The drug can be diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 3 or 1: 5.
The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually; the average duration is 20-30 days.
Contraindicated.
During the period of use of the drug, it is forbidden to drive a car and work with potentially dangerous mechanisms.
With a significant increase in the dose, drowsiness, dyspeptic disorders, and allergic reactions are possible, requiring discontinuation of the drug and symptomatic therapy.
Cardiolin may cause hypersensitivity reactions, dyspeptic disorders, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, drowsiness, increased diuresis, sweating, chills.
Concomitant use with cardiac glycosides is undesirable, as the drug contains adenium herb and possible toxicity.
Since the drug Cardiolin contains 40% ethyl alcohol and adenium herb, potentiation of the action of hypnotics, tranquilizers, sedatives, neuroleptics is possible, and the drug can also enhance the cardiotonic effect and toxicity of cardiac glycosides.
When used simultaneously with class IA antiarrhythmics (quinidine, procainamide, disopyramide), calcium preparations, laxatives and corticosteroids, their effect and toxic effects are enhanced.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
