The action of the drug Cholosas is associated with the influence of a complex of components that make up the rosehip fruit, including vitamins B1, B2, C, E, K, PP, provitamin A, sugar 14-16%, malic and citric acids, flavonoids, pectins – 25%, essential oils, dextrin, vanillin, lecithin, salts K, Ca, Fe, Mg.

Cholosas increases the functional capacity of the liver, increases bile secretion, increases the content of cholates in bile, reduces the viscosity of bile. The choleretic effect of the drug is due to the content of flavonoids. Rosehip extract in the composition of Cholosas also has an effect on other functions of the body – normalizes and stimulates the secretion of gastric glands, increases the enzymatic activity of gastric juice, enhances intestinal peristalsis in its atony. It also contributes to the anti-inflammatory effect due to the content of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).

Due to the presence of organic acids and pectins in rose hips, Cholosas has a diuretic effect.

Organic acids (malic, citric) stimulate the activity of the salivary glands, affect the secretion of bile and pancreatic juice, improve appetite and digestion, and help reduce putrefactive processes in the body.

Ascorbic acid in rosehip extract has an anti-sclerotic and anti-inflammatory effect, activates enzyme systems and redox processes in the body, has a positive effect on carbohydrate metabolism and enhances tissue regeneration, and increases the body’s resistance to adverse environmental factors.

Cholosas should be taken orally 30 minutes before meals. Adults and children over 14 years old – 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 2-3 times a day. Children from 3 to 6 years old – 1.25 ml (¼ teaspoon) 2-3 times a day; from 6 to 14 years old – 2.5 ml (½ teaspoon) 2-3 times a day. Children should use the drug as prescribed by a doctor. The duration of use is determined by the doctor individually and depends on the nature and severity of the disease and concomitant therapy.
