Galstena – restores, protects, cleanses the liver, normalizes the functioning of the gallbladder, prevents the formation of stones

It is used to treat acute and chronic diseases of the liver, biliary tract and bladder, and in the complex therapy of chronic pancreatitis.
To protect and restore the liver when using antibiotics, cold remedies, painkillers, anti-inflammatory and other hepatotoxic drugs and alcohol.
Warehouse
- active ingredients: 100 ml of the preparation contains: Carduus D1 2 ml, Taraxacum D6 10 ml, Chelidonium D6 10 ml, Natrium sulfuricum D12 10 ml, Phosphorus D12 10 ml;
- excipient: ethanol 43% (m/m).
1 ml of solution contains 25 drops.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the active substances, to plants of the Asteraceae family (such as chamomile, calendula, chrysanthemum) or to any of the excipients of the drug.
Method of application
- adults and children over 12 years old: 10 drops of the drug in pure form or diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;
- children aged 5-12 years: 5-7 drops of the drug diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;
- children aged 2-4 years: 2-4 drops of the drug diluted in 1 tablespoon of water.
Take the drug 3 times a day.
At the beginning of treatment, as well as in cases requiring rapid relief of symptoms, it is recommended to take the drug every half hour – an hour up to 8 times a day, until the condition improves, but not more than 3 days, after which it should be taken 3 times a day.
To achieve maximum effect, it is recommended to take Galstena between meals (30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal), holding the drug in the mouth for some time before swallowing.
If symptoms worsen, or if there is no improvement after 7 days of treatment, you should consult a doctor.
The course of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the nature and severity of the disease.
Usually the duration of the course of treatment: hepatitis, hepatosis, cirrhosis of the liver – at least 3 months. Chronic cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, postcholecystectomy syndrome – 2-3 months. If necessary, the course can be repeated after 1 month. For biliary dyskinesia, the duration of the course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. To protect liver cells after antibiotic therapy and other harmful effects – 2-4 weeks.

There are no data on the use of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding. There is no evidence of any risk of taking the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding is recommended with caution.

Children
The use of Galstena oral drops in children under 2 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.
