Levamisole Zdorovya tablets 150 mg blister 1 pc

“Levamisole Zdorovya” tablets are used for the following indications: ascariasis, nekatorosis, hookworm disease.

Composition

One tablet contains (active substance) levamisole hydrochloride 150 mg.

Excipients: corn starch, lactose, povidone, stearic acid.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to levamisole or excipients.

Method of application

For the treatment of helminthiasis in adults, use once in a dose of 150 mg (one tablet).

It is advisable to take the drug after a meal with a small amount of water, in the evening.

There is no need to take laxatives or a special diet.

If necessary, repeat the treatment after a 7-14 day break.

During pregnancy, the drug can be prescribed only if the expected benefit outweighs the possible risk of using the drug. During breastfeeding, in order to protect the baby, it is necessary to decide whether it is necessary to take the mother’s drug.

Levamisole has not been proven to depress the nervous system. While taking the drug, slight and short-term dizziness is possible, therefore, you should be careful when driving a car, working in places of increased danger and with other mechanisms.

Overdose

When taking a large dose of levamisole (more than 600 mg), the following signs of intoxication were described: nausea, vomiting, lethargy, spasms, diarrhea, headache, dizziness and confusion.

Treatment: in case of accidental overdose – if not much time has passed after the intake – wash the stomach. It is necessary to monitor vital signs and carry out symptomatic therapy.

If there are signs of anticholinesterase action, atropine can be administered as an antidote.

From the blood and lymphatic system: agranulocytosis, leukopenia.

Mental disorders: insomnia.

From the side of the central nervous system: convulsions, dizziness, encephalopathy, headache.

From the gastrointestinal tract: abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting.

From the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions, including rash, pruritus, and angioedema.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C, in a place inaccessible to children.
