BF-6 glue is a wound-healing and antiseptic preparation. It is used as an insulating agent, promotes the healing of small skin wounds due to the formation of an insulating film on their surface.
The glue is used to treat microtraumas – abrasions, scratches, cuts and other small skin injuries, as well as to cover the root of the tooth during surgical treatment of peri-root dental foci of infection: cysts, granulomas.
Composition of BF-6
A solution of phenol-formaldehyde modification – resin, polyvinyl butyral and rosin, plasticized with a plasticizer.
Indications
Before applying BF-6 glue, the skin area is thoroughly cleaned of dirt. The glue is applied to the skin with a thin, even layer until the area of damage and adjacent intact tissues are completely covered (bandages are not applied). In case of violation of the integrity of the film, a new film is applied over it.
