Menovazan Pro patch, 5 pcs. – a patch for joint and muscle pain, which is used for joint pain and muscle pain for temporary local anesthesia.
How it works
Medical product with combined analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect:
- menthol activates cold receptors, creates a feeling of coolness, and reflexively regulates vascular tone (superficial and deep);
- meloxicam penetrates the skin, reaches the subcutaneous tissues, reduces inflammation and swelling, and has an analgesic effect;
- Procaine hydrochloride and benzocaine provide local anesthetic activity without affecting vascular tone.
Composition
Active ingredients of 1 patch: menthol 0.25 g, meloxicam 0.1 g, procaine hydrochloride 0.1 g, benzocaine 0.1 g.
Patch base: hydrogel base, non-woven material, polypropylene protective film.
When to use
To understand when it is best to use a pain-relieving patch, consider the following situations:
- joint pain (including joint pain of traumatic etiology);
- sprains, bruises, dislocations;
- local forms of soft tissue rheumatism;
- inflammation of ligaments, tendons, muscles;
- muscle pain and with muscle pain, neuralgic pain.
How to apply
Here’s how to properly use a pain relief patch:
- apply 1 patch 2 times a day (morning and evening) to one affected area;
- do not separate or combine with an occlusive dressing;
- continuous wear: 12 hours on one area;
- maximum: 2 patches per day;
- course duration: up to 7 days, no more than 7 days;
- Before application, remove the protective film and, if necessary, secure with an elastic bandage.
Who is not suitable?
Main restrictions and contraindications:
- sensitivity to components;
- peptic ulcer in exacerbation;
- burns, infections, eczema, skin lesions, open wounds;
- urticaria, acute rhinitis, bronchial asthma caused by NSAIDs or acetylsalicylic acid in history;
- do not use during pregnancy and lactation;
- not suitable for children under 18 years of age;
- elderly patients and people with kidney, heart, or liver diseases – use with caution and after consulting a doctor;
- possible bronchospasm in patients with asthma/allergy in history to NSAIDs;
- avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes;
- do not expose the area to direct sunlight 1 day after the course (risk of photosensitivity).
Adverse reactions
Sometimes skin reactions are observed:
- redness, itching, rash, swelling, hives, contact dermatitis;
- If rashes appear, the course is stopped, the patch is removed, the skin is washed with water and a doctor is consulted.
Storage
Store at a temperature of 2 to 25°C; keep out of reach of children, in the original packaging.
