Active ingredients:
100 ml of the drug contain tinctures from a mixture of medicinal plant raw materials “Phytodent” (1:10) (extractant – ethanol 40%): Calendula rhizomes (calami rhizomata) – 2 g; Marigold flowers (calendulae officinalis flores) – 1.5 g; Nettle leaves (urticae dioicae folia) – 1 g; Chamomile flowers (chamomillae recutitae flores) – 1 g; Japanese sophora fruits (sophorae japonicae fructus) – 2 g; Celandine herb (chelidonii herba) – 1.5 g; Rosehip fruits (rosae fructus) – 1 g;
excipients: none, except for the extractant.

Pharmacological properties.
Phytodent has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, disinfectant and fungicidal effects, is well absorbed by the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and periodontal tissues. In addition, tannins and flavonoids contained in the preparation have wound healing, hemostatic and tonic properties. Due to the presence of physiologically active substances in the preparation, which are part of chamomile, sophora and celandine, the preparation has an analgesic effect.
Indications for use.
Local treatment of inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa: catarrhal stomatitis; chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis; localized periodontitis (chronic or acute course) of the first degree; catarrhal gingivitis. in the form of rinses for infectious and inflammatory processes of the mucous membrane of the pharynx and larynx.
Contraindication.
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Children under 12 years of age.
Interaction with other drugs and other types of interactions.
The drug enhances the effect of anti-inflammatory and analgesic agents.
Application features.
Phytodent should be used after removing food debris and dental plaque. The drug should only be used diluted. Shake before use.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The drug is used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The ability to influence the reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

Method of administration and doses.
The drug should be diluted with water in various proportions (1 part of the drug to 1 or 2 parts of water, or 1 teaspoon of the drug to ¼ cup of water, depending on individual sensitivity) and used for rinsing, rinsing and irrigation (3-5 times a day for 5 minutes); as well as for oral baths (3-5 times a day for 2-3 minutes). Treatment of periodontal diseases is carried out by inserting turundas into the gingival pockets and interdental spaces, abundantly moistened with a diluted (1 part of the drug to 1 part of water) solution of phytodent® (1-2 times a day for 15-20 minutes); application with a diluted (1 part of the drug to 1 part of water) solution of phytodent® (2-3 times a day for 15-20 minutes). The course of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the nature of the disease; usually the duration of treatment is 12-14 days.
Children.
The drug should not be used in children under 12 years of age.
Overdose.
When using the undiluted preparation, a burning sensation may occur.
Adverse reactions.
In case of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, allergic reactions may occur, including skin itching, redness, skin rash, and angioedema.
Expiration date.
2 years. Do not use after the expiration date.
Storage conditions.
Keep out of reach of children. Store in original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25º C.
