Proctosan Neo rectal ointment tube of 20 g with an applicator

Active substances: sodium heparin, prednisolone acetate, polidocanol;

1 g of ointment contains sodium heparin 65 IU, prednisolone acetate 2.233 mg, polidocanol 30 mg;

Excipients: paraffin, mineral oil, lanolin, colloidal silicon dioxide.

Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug infection in the perianal region; tendency to bleeding; specific skin lesions (for example, syphilis); genital herpes other viral infections; secondary skin infections in the absence of appropriate antibiotic therapy.

Proctosan Neo, ointment for rectal and local use, apply to the affected areas of the skin 2 times a day after defecation. On the first day of treatment, the ointment can be used 4 times a day to relieve symptoms.

For internal hemorrhoids, for deep injection of ointment, put on the applicator on the tube, insert it into the rectum and squeeze out a small amount of ointment by lightly pressing the lower part of the tube.

The drug should not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy. Caution is recommended when using in late pregnancy (II – III trimester).

With local application of the drug, it can be detected in the systemic circulation in relatively low concentrations, no toxic effects should be expected.

Usually, the drug is well tolerated, only in rare cases, reactions of increased sensitivity and local skin irritation may occur (there is a small possibility of allergic reactions to polidocanol).

Long-term use can slow down the healing of wounds and cracks and the systemic effect of prednisolone.

It is not recommended to use together with other medicinal products for rectal use.
