Glucose-electrolyte mixture for dietary compensation of fluid deficiency (dehydration) and electrolytes in conditions of the body accompanied by a violation of water-electrolyte balance (diarrhea of mild and moderate dehydration, during heat and physical exertion leading to intense sweating.
The composition of this product allows you to balance the body’s water and electrolyte balance without risk. The quantitative ratio of Saltadol components is precisely coordinated, verified and corresponds to the reduced osmolarity of the formulation recommended by the WHO for replenishing lost electrolytes.
Method of application
One sachet contains 4.13 grams (g) of dry powder per sachet. The contents of one sachet are dissolved in 200 ml of boiled cooled water or tea and drunk warm or cold. The individual duration of use depends on the doctor’s instructions.
Children aged 3 years and over, adolescents and adults: Drink the contents of a sachet dissolved in 200 ml of liquid several times a day as needed. Adults can drink up to 4 litres of Saltadoll during the day if they have severe diarrhoea. This corresponds to 20 sachets.
Application features
Patients with heart failure and high blood pressure should consult a doctor before starting dietary treatment. Patients receiving concomitant therapy with cardiac glycosides should have their potassium levels carefully monitored. Avoid sugary drinks such as sodas, colas, etc. The high sugar content promotes and prolongs diarrhea.
Contraindication
Suitable for children aged 3 years and older, adolescents and adults. Should not be used for self-treatment of severe diarrhea lasting more than three days. Saltadol should be prescribed to diabetics only after consulting a doctor. Do not use in cases of impaired renal excretory function, metabolic alkalosis, intractable vomiting, impaired carbohydrate absorption, clouding of consciousness and shock, as well as in the presence of phenylketonuria. Do not use in cases of acute fluid deficiency due to obstructive diseases of the digestive tract. Saltadol should be used under medical supervision. Not intended as the sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for parenteral use!

Glucose anhydrous, trisodium citrate dihydrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sweeteners (acesulfame K, aspartame). The mineral content has been adjusted to the required osmolarity.
