Pharmacodynamics.

“Solizym Forte” replenishes the deficiency of pancreatic enzymes. Lipase, which is part of the drug, hydrolyzes fats (to glycerol and fatty acids), contributing to a more complete absorption of substances in the small intestine. When using the drug, the digestion process is normalized, the functional state of the digestive tract is improved.

Pharmacokinetics.

The tablets have a protective coating that is insoluble in the acidic environment of the stomach, which prevents the enzyme from being destroyed by the pH of gastric juice. The dissolution of the coating and the release of enzymes begins in the duodenum.

Dyspepsia, consumption of difficult-to-digest fatty foods, flatulence associated with the above disorders, acceleration of the passage of food in the intestines of a functional nature.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute pancreatitis or chronic pancreatitis in the acute stage.

The drug should not be taken simultaneously with antacids containing aluminum, magnesium, calcium ions, or iron preparations.

The drug contains lactose, therefore patients with rare hereditary forms of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome should not use the drug “Solizym Forte”.

The medicine contains yellow FCF (E 110), which may cause allergic reactions when taken orally.

The use of the drug “Solizyme Forte” during pregnancy or breastfeeding is possible only in cases where the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

There is no data on the negative impact of the drug on the ability to drive vehicles or work with other mechanisms.

Tablets should be taken orally during or immediately after a meal. Swallow the tablets whole, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid.

The recommended dose is 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. Take the drug for digestive disorders if necessary.

The dosage and duration of use of the drug “Solizym Forte” is determined by the doctor individually for each patient, depending on the nature and course of the disease, the state of functioning of the pancreas, the degree of digestive disorders and the composition of food.

There is no experience with the use of the drug in children.

Possible increase in side effects. Treatment is symptomatic.
