Emulgel for external use Voltaren forte is indicated for the treatment of pain, inflammation and edema in:

Composition

Active substance: diclofenac;

1 g of Emulgel contains 23.2 mg of diclofenac diethylamine, which corresponds to 20 mg of diclofenac sodium;

Excipients: isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, cocoyl caprylocaprate, mineral oil, polyethylene glycol cetostearyl ether, carbomer, diethylamine, oleyl alcohol, eucalyptus flavoring, butylhydroxytoluene (E 321), purified water.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other components of the drug. Presence in the anamnesis of attacks of bronchial asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis caused by taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Method of application

For adults and children over 12 years old, the drug provides pain relief at 12:00 after application. Voltaren Forte is used 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening, lightly rubbing into the skin at the location of the pain. The amount of the drug used depends on the size of the affected area (yes, 2-4 g, the size corresponds to a cherry or walnut, enough to apply to an area of 400-800 cm 2).

After applying the drug, it is necessary to wash hands, except for those cases when this particular area is to be treated.

The duration of therapy depends on the indications and effectiveness of treatment. The drug should not be used for longer than 14 days.

If after 7 days of treatment the patient’s condition has not improved or worsened, it is necessary to consult a doctor.

Elderly patients do not need to adjust the dose of the drug.
