Strataderm Gel for External Use – Next Generation Silicone Gel for Scar Treatment
Strataderm Gel is a new-generation silicone gel designed for the local treatment and prevention of all types of pathological scars. It contains a clinically proven silicone formulation effective in reducing and softening scars and keloids. Regular use helps diminish redness and size, smooths, and softens all types of scars. Strataderm Gel is safe for use in children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and people with sensitive skin.
Benefits
- Transparent, fast-drying, non-sticky silicone gel.
- Effective for both new and old scars.
- Easy to apply to all skin areas, including exposed parts like the face and neck, as well as joints and hairy areas without shaving.
- When applied correctly, Strataderm forms a thin, flexible silicone layer that is gas-permeable and waterproof, keeping the scar hydrated and protected from chemical and bacterial exposure, promoting natural collagen synthesis.
- Softens and smooths scars, reduces itching, redness, discoloration, and discomfort.
- Suitable for treating scars caused by surgery, injuries, old wounds, burns, bites, acne, and other skin conditions.
Indications for Use
Strataderm Gel is used to prevent and treat all types of scars, including keloid and hypertrophic scars. It may be combined with other therapeutic methods such as surgical revision, suturing, injections, or compression therapy. Strataderm Gel is safe for use on children (including newborns), pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals with sensitive or allergy-prone skin.
Directions for Use
- Ensure the scar area is clean and dry.
- Apply a very thin layer of Strataderm Gel to the scar and allow it to dry.
- Apply once or twice daily, or as directed by your physician.
- For best results, maintain continuous contact between the gel and the scar.
- The gel should dry within 3–4 minutes; if drying takes longer, too much product was applied. Gently remove the excess with a tissue.
- Once dry, you may apply sunscreen, cosmetics, compression garments, or plaster over it.
Recommended Duration of Treatment
Use Strataderm Gel for at least 60–90 days (continuously, 24/7). Older scars may require longer treatment until no further improvement is seen.
Warnings
- Do not apply Strataderm Gel to open wounds.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not apply to areas other than those recommended by your doctor.
- May stain clothing if not completely dry.
- For external use only.
- Discontinue use and consult a physician if irritation occurs.
