Candid oral solution is used as a local treatment for oral candidiasis and pharyngomycoses.
Composition
Active ingredient: clotrimazole;
1 ml of solution contains 10 mg of clotrimazole;
Excipients: propylene glycol, glycerin.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or other components of the preparation, including propylene glycol and glycerin.
Method of administration and dosage
Apply 10–20 drops of Candid to the affected areas of the oral mucosa using a cotton swab 3–4 times a day.
All affected areas should be treated with the preparation. A positive effect is usually observed on the 3rd–5th day of treatment;
however, in some cases, therapy may be continued until the signs of infection disappear completely. During and after treatment,
special attention should be paid to eliminating any factors that could cause reinfection.
The course of treatment is determined by the physician.
Special precautions
Pregnancy
Use during pregnancy is possible only if, in the opinion of the physician, the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
There is no data on whether clotrimazole passes into breast milk. Therefore, the medicine may be used during breastfeeding only if, in the physician’s opinion,
the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the child.
Children
There is insufficient data on the use of the medicine in children.

Overdose
Symptoms of overdose are unlikely if the product is used according to recommendations.
Adverse reactions
Possible allergic reactions. Pain and irritation at the application site. Fainting, hypotension, shortness of breath, skin rash, urticaria, erythema, burning, tingling,
itching, swelling, or contact dermatitis may occur.
