Pharmacological Properties
Pharmacodynamics: The pharmacological properties of Dermazole cream are determined by the active ingredient ketoconazole, which exhibits antifungal and fungistatic activity against dermatophytes (Epidermophyton spp., Microsporum spp., Trichophyton spp.), yeasts, and yeast-like fungi (Candida spp., Malassezia furfur).
Pharmacokinetics: Ketoconazole is well absorbed into the affected skin areas. When applied topically, systemic absorption is minimal and does not cause systemic effects.
