Glutathione – a tripeptide – a natural component of cells of all tissues of the body. Its wide distribution is associated with a wide range of biological functions and is of fundamental importance for numerous biochemical and metabolic processes. Sulfhydryl groups of cysteine, which is part of glutathione, are powerful nucleophilic agents. In this regard, they become the main target of electrophilic attack of chemicals or their active metabolites, which leads to the inactivation of potentially toxic exogenous substances. Thus, the drug has a protective effect on vital nucleophilic sites, when attacked, the process of cell damage begins. In addition, glutathione, restored as a result of interaction with a large number of oxidized organic metabolites, forms less toxic conjugated compounds, which are subsequently more easily metabolized and excreted as mercapturic acids.

“Hepaval” is used as a dietary supplement to the diet, on the recommendation of a doctor, to restore the level of L-glutathione – an important component of the body’s antioxidant defense and detoxification systems:

• in case of liver dysfunction of various origins due to the accumulation of free radicals and peroxide compounds, manifestations of toxic effects and uncontrolled use of medications, poisoning with toxic elements, pesticides, alcohol, photochemical products of smog;
• with increased physical exertion, a decrease in the functional activity of the antioxidant system due to aging of the body;
• in the winter-spring period, when the diet is depleted of antioxidants (tocopherols, bioflavonoids, ubiquinone), as well as when there is excessive consumption of fats and carbohydrates with a simultaneous decrease in their consumption;
• due to the action of adverse physical factors (radiation, electromagnetic and ultraviolet radiation).

• Excipients: lactose, magnesium stearate (E470), silicon dioxide (E551).
• Capsule shell: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxides – black, red and yellow (E172).

Adults should take 1-2 capsules per day, regardless of meals.
