Aciclovir Belupo cream for external use 5% tube 10 g

Active ingredient: acyclovir;

1 g of cream contains 50 mg of aciclovir;

Excipients: propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol (macrogol) glyceryl stearate, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, sodium lauryl sulfate, purified water.

Hypersensitivity to acyclovir, valacyclovir, propylene glycol or other components of the cream.

The drug is intended for external use.

Adults and children over 12 years of age should apply the cream 5 times a day at approximately 4-hour intervals, except at night. The duration of treatment is at least 4 days. If after 4 days the skin lesions do not disappear completely, treatment can be continued for another 6 days (a total of 10 days from the start of treatment). If the symptoms of the disease do not disappear after 10 days of treatment, the patient should consult a doctor.

It is important to start treatment as soon as possible at the onset of infection.

You should wash your hands before and after applying the cream and avoid excessive rubbing or touching the affected areas with a towel to prevent aggravation or transmission of the infection.

Pregnant women

The drug is recommended for use only when, in the opinion of the doctor, the benefit outweighs the risk.

Children

The drug is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age due to the lack of data on the safety of use.

No adverse effects have been observed with oral or topical application of the entire tube of cream due to minimal systemic exposure. In case of suspected overdose, medical attention should be sought.

Temporary sharp or burning pain after applying the cream, moderate drying and peeling of the skin, itching.
