The enzymes included in Pangest® are carefully selected taking into account their activity at different pH values ​​of the gastrointestinal tract. One of the innovations of the dietary supplement Pangest is the new Capsule in Capsule (CIC) delivery system, which is used to protect the enzymes. CIC is a technology that allows enzymes to be delivered to specific parts of the gastrointestinal tract. The enzymes are distributed in the outer and inner capsules, which allows the necessary enzymes to be delivered to the optimal pH environment for them. The outer capsule disintegrates after entering the stomach, where digestive enzymes selected for release in the stomach break down food into less complex and more easily digestible nutrients. These enzymes are active and stable in the acidic pH of the stomach. The inner capsule is made of a plant polymer that disintegrates in the intestines. The unique polymer properties are designed to withstand the acidic conditions of the stomach and protect the inner capsule from disintegration and release of the contents before reaching the small intestine. Thus, the entire enzyme content of the inner capsule reaches the small intestine, where it stimulates the digestion of food instead of pancreatic enzymes. The enzymes are selected to ensure their activity in the pH range of the small intestine. Pre-digesting food in the stomach prevents the development of indigestion and overflow, as proper, well-digestible chyme will be delivered to the small intestine.

Adults: 1-2 capsules with main meals. Maximum daily dose: 2 capsules.

Pangest is recommended for conditions accompanied by pancreatic enzyme deficiency, such as cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis, and surgical interventions in the upper gastrointestinal tract.
