Menovazan ointment, 40 g tube – a remedy for pain in muscles and joints, which is used for neuralgia and myalgia to relieve symptoms and provide local anesthesia.
Composition
Active ingredients in 1 g of ointment: menthol 25 mg, procaine hydrochloride 10 mg, benzocaine 10 mg.
Auxiliary components: mineral oil, soft white paraffin, emulsifier T-2, purified water.
Release form
White ointment with a characteristic menthol odor.
Pharmacological properties
A combined drug with local anesthetic and distracting effects.
Menthol affects cold receptors, creating a feeling of coolness, and reflexively regulates the tone of superficial and deep vessels.
Procaine exhibits a pronounced analgesic effect and does not affect vascular tone.
Benzocaine provides superficial anesthesia upon contact with the skin.
The combination of components reversibly reduces the excitability of nerve receptors and the conductivity of nerve fibers upon direct contact, which helps reduce the intensity of the pain signal.
