The functional properties of the dietary supplement Butrykol are due to the component that is part of it.

Tributyrin is a triglyceride consisting of butyric acid and glycerol. Butyric acid refers to short-chain fatty acids, which are formed in the large intestine during microbial digestion by saccharolytic microflora (bacteroids, bifidobacteria, fusobacteria, peptostreptococcus, clostridia, etc.)

Butyric acid is not only a source of energy for colonic epithelial cells, but also affects a wide range of cellular functions, maintaining intestinal homeostasis. Butyric acid is able to favorably affect the walls of the intestine (in particular, the colon), enhancing its barrier function against antigens. One of the important components of this barrier is the mucus layer that covers the epithelium, and butyric acid enhances mucus production and restores the level of antimicrobial proteins.

It is not a medicine.

Adults: 1-2 capsules per day during meals. The capsules should be swallowed without chewing, with sufficient amount of drinking water.

Duration of use: 3-4 weeks. Further use and the possibility of a repeated course should be agreed with a doctor.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.

• active ingredient: tributyrin – 450 mg (mg), (corresponding to 394 mg (mg) of butyric acid);
• excipients: sunflower oil, vitamin E; shell: gelatin, purified water, glycerin, sorbitol, potassium sorbate – E 218 (preservative), azorubine – E 122 (food coloring), “Cherry” flavoring.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
