Karipain body cream stops inflammatory processes in the spine and joints, relieves pain, promotes the regeneration of intervertebral discs and cartilage tissue of the spine and joints, and improves microcirculation in tissues.
Active ingredients
The pharmacological properties of the cream are due to the complex action of papain, glucosamine hydrochloride, and hyaluronic acid.
Papain – monothiol cysteine endoprotease – a natural enzyme of plant origin, obtained from the milky juice of papaya (Carica Papaya). Papain destroys inflammatory mediators, which reduces their concentration in the synovial fluid of the joint. Papain also provokes the production of endogenous proteinase inhibitors by the human body. All this slows down the process of cartilage degradation without a negative systemic effect on the body.
Glucosamine belongs to glycoproteins and takes an active part in the construction of cartilage tissue. Its basis is chitin – a natural polymer obtained from the shell of crustaceans. The combination of papain with glucosamine hydrochloride stimulates the production of glucosaminoglycans and reduces cartilage damage.
Hyaluronic acid is a non-sulfated glycosaminoglycan – a polysaccharide of animal origin. It inhibits cartilage degeneration and the release of proteoglycans from the intercellular matrix of cartilage tissue, protects the surface of articular cartilage. The combination of papain with hyaluronic acid improves the condition of synovial fluid, reduces pain perception. Hyaluronic acid is delivered to the affected joint non-invasively (using phonophoresis), as a result of which the joint is not additionally injured by the injection and the risks of complications are reduced.
