Ademethionine (S-adenosyl-L-methionine) is a natural amino acid that is present in almost all tissues of the body.

Ademetionine plays a key role in the body’s metabolic processes and participates in the following important biochemical processes:

• transmethylation – transfer of methyl groups for the synthesis of phospholipids of cell membranes, neurotransmitters, nucleic acids, proteins, hormones, etc.;
