Active substance: 1 g of emulsion contains 0.2 g of benzyl benzoate;

auxiliary substances: household solid soap, T-2 emulsifier, purified water.

Emulsion of white color with a weak specific smell, which foams when shaken. The presence of sediment is allowed, which disappears when shaken.

The drug exhibits antipediculosis activity and acaricidal effect on various types of ticks, including scabies.

Lice die in 2-5 hours, ticks die in 7-32 minutes.

Mandatory disinfection of underwear and bed linen, outerwear and headgear.

When the drug is ingested:

• in the mouth: rinse the mouth with water or a 2% solution of warm baking soda and keep calm;
• into the stomach: wash the stomach with a 1-2% solution of baking soda, an aqueous mixture of burnt magnesia and activated carbon or an aqueous mixture of crushed chalk (2 tablespoons per 1 liter of water), then give a drink of a mixture of 1-2 tablespoons of activated charcoal and burnt magnesia in a glass of water, then take a saline laxative (it is forbidden to take castor oil);
• in the eyes: rinse thoroughly with water or baking soda; in case of irritation of the mucous membrane of the eyes, instill a 30% solution of Albucid under the eyelid, in case of pain – with a 2% solution of novocaine;

If signs of skin irritation appear, the use of the drug should be stopped.

The drug is not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Shake the emulsion thoroughly before use.

To destroy lice. Moisten a cotton or gauze swab with the emulsion, apply to the hair of the head or hairy parts of the body, at the rate of 25 g per person, and lightly rub into the skin. Tie the head with a scarf. 30 minutes after treatment with head pediculosis (after 10 minutes with pubic pediculosis), wash off the preparation with running water. When washing off the drug from the head, avoid getting it on the skin of the face. After that, wet the handkerchief with a warm 5% solution of vinegar (mix a glass of vinegar with the same amount of water heated to 50 °C) and, twisting the handkerchief slightly, tie the head again for 1 hour. At the same time, the nits are peeled off from the hair. After this procedure, the hair is washed with shampoo, combed with a thick comb, dead lice and nits are removed. The effectiveness of antipediculosis treatment is determined after an hour or a day. If the nits remain, the hair is treated again with only a 5% vinegar solution.

Treatment of scabies. The drug is rubbed into the skin daily, in the amount of 100 ml, with the hands (except for the face and scalp). First, the upper limbs are processed, then the trunk and lower limbs. The patient takes a bath before the first treatment and after 3 days of treatment. Bedding and underwear are changed before the first treatment and after 3 days of treatment and a hygienic bath. The duration of the treatment course is 3 days.
