Castor oil is a viscous, oily liquid obtained from the castor plant (Ricinus Communis). It is a complex of triglycerides of ricinoleic, linoleic and oleic acids. When taken internally, it is hydrolyzed by lipase in the small intestine to form ricinoleic acid, which irritates the intestinal receptors and reflexively increases its peristalsis. As a rule, the laxative effect occurs after 5-6 hours. Castor oil is recommended for constipation, poisoning, food intoxication and for the purpose of cleansing the intestines before diagnostic procedures.

Recommendations for use

Can be recommended as a source of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Helps to strengthen intestinal peristalsis, improve bowel movements. Has mild laxative properties. Requires consultation with a doctor before use.

Method of application

Adults and children over 12 years old: 1 capsule per 10.0 kg of body weight per day.

Duration of use: if necessary, further duration of use should be agreed with the doctor.

Application features

Do not exceed the recommended daily amount. The product is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Contraindication

Individual sensitivity to product components, pregnancy and lactation, children under 12 years of age.

  • excipients (shell composition): gelatin, glycerin (E422), sodium benzoate (E211), potassium sorbate (E202), water.

Storage conditions

Store in the manufacturer’s packaging, in a dry, cool place, protected from light, at a temperature of 8 °C to 25 °C, with a relative humidity of no more than 75%, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life: 24 months.
