Detralex is a premium venotonic medication specifically formulated to improve venous circulation and alleviate symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency. Each film-coated tablet contains 1000 mg of micronized diosmin and hesperidin, two natural flavonoids that work synergistically to strengthen vein walls, reduce inflammation, and improve lymphatic drainage.
Detralex is a French original drug with a strong pharmacological effect, which is used for the treatment of vein diseases.
The medicinal product is registered on the territory of Ukraine and has a dual effect:
The drug prevents lymph stagnation and increases blood supply to tissues.
Reduces the symptoms of inflammation by stopping the formation of substances that trigger the inflammatory reaction mechanism in the blood vessels and cause painful sensations in the legs.
The drug “Detralex” and its analogues are produced in the form of tablets, which are covered with a protective film shell. The composition of the medicine includes a combination of plant bioflavonoids (diosmin and hesperidin), which is obtained by a high degree of purification and reduction of the components of the drug to the smallest particles (microns). The process accelerates the release of active substances and the onset of a therapeutic effect.
“Detralex” has angioprotective and venotonic properties. It normalizes the work of the venous system, helps to reduce the permeability of blood vessels, improves the elasticity of veins and the ability to withstand intravascular pressure. Beneficially affects the outflow of lymph, improving lymphatic drainage. The angioprotective action consists in normalizing the microcirculation of blood vessels, blood supply and tissue metabolism. It increases the tone of the veins, reduces the adhesion of leukocytes in the venules, as a result of which the inflammation on the walls and leaflets of the vein valves decreases. The drug “Detralex” is active in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, as well as in the treatment of hemorrhoids.
The components of the drug leave the body mainly through the intestines with feces. Approximately 14% of the dose is excreted in the urine. The elimination half-life is 11 hours. The components of the drug are actively metabolized with the formation of phenolic acids in the urine.
The medicine “Detralex” is prescribed to relieve and eliminate the symptoms of diseases in which there is a violation of the tone of blood vessels:
