For medical use of the drug
Indications for use:
It is used in various inflammatory processes of the mucous membranes of the pharynx and larynx – in angina, chronic laryngitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis.
Contraindication of Lugol:
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding: not studied.
The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or other mechanisms: not investigated.
Children: the drug is used in children.
Method of application:
The drug can be used by both adults and children. Lugol solution is used externally. the mucous membranes of the pharynx and larynx are lubricated with a tampon moistened with the drug.
The duration of the course of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and its severity.
Storage conditions and expiration date of Lugol:
Store at a temperature no higher than + 25 degrees, in the original packaging, in a place protected from light and inaccessible to children.
Side effects:
The drug is usually well tolerated, but with long-term use, overdose or increased sensitivity, the phenomenon of iodism may appear.
