Sinupret is a medicine intended for the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, as well as runny nose and nasal congestion.
“Synupret forte” tablets are used for acute and chronic inflammation of the sinuses.
One tablet contains (active substances) dried medicinal plants in the form of powder:
sorrel herb (Nerba Rumisis) – 36 mg;
verbena herb (Nerba Verbenae) – 36 mg;
St. John’s wort root (Radix Gentianae) – 12 mg;
elder flower (Flores Sambusi) – 36 mg;
primrose flowers with a calyx (Flores Римулае сум Саlyсибус) – 36 mg.
Excipients: acrylate copolymer, aluminum hydroxide, mountain glycol wax, purified water, glucose solution, dextrin, gelatin, indigo carmine (E 132), stearic acid, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, calcium carbonate (E 170), potato starch, corn starch, lactose monohydrate, light magnesium oxide, copper chlorophyllin (E 141), refined castor oil, riboflavin (E 101), sucrose, sorbitol (E 420), talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), shellac.
Hypersensitivity to any of the active or other components of the drug, to other types of primrose, as well as ulcers.
Adults and children over 12 years old should use one tablet 3 times a day. Tablets should be taken without chewing, with a sufficient amount of liquid. Patients with gastritis or a functional disorder of the stomach (the so-called “sensitive stomach”) should take the drug after a meal.
If the doctor has not prescribed otherwise, the recommended course of treatment is 7-14 days.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the drug can be used only after the doctor has clearly established the diagnosis and assessed the ratio of benefits for the mother / risk for the fetus (child).
Do not use in children under 12 years old due to lack of research.
The drug does not affect the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or other mechanisms.
Cases of overdose are currently unknown. Possible increased occurrence of these adverse reactions – in this case, you should consult a doctor.
Treatment: symptomatic therapy.
Gastrointestinal disorders (eg, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort) are rarely observed. In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions occur, including rash, reddening of the skin, itching, urticaria, Quincke’s edema, shortness of breath, swelling of the face.
If any adverse reactions occur, you should stop using the drug and consult a doctor.
At the first signs of hypersensitivity / allergic reaction, this drug should not be taken again.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 30 °C, in a place inaccessible to children.
Shelf life – 3 years.
