Stillen tablets treat gastric mucosa lesions in acute and chronic gastritis, H. pylori infection, and prevent NSAID-induced gastritis.

Stillen tablets are indicated for use:

  • for the treatment of lesions of the gastric mucosa (erosion, hemorrhage, hyperemia, edema) in acute and chronic gastritis; gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylori infection (in the case of simultaneous administration of drugs used for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori);
  • for the prevention of gastritis caused by taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Composition

One film-coated tablet contains:

  • active ingredient: 60 mg of Artemisiae Argyi wormwood leaf extract, mild (20: 1), containing 0.48-1.44 mg of eupatylin and 0.15-0.45 mg of jayseosidin, extractant ethanol 95%;
  • excipients: microcrystalline cellulose; lactose monohydrate, poloxamer; croscarmellose sodium; calcium silicate; talc, magnesium stearate;
  • Coating: Opadry OY-C-7000A (white), Opadry 80W41066 (Green *)), Opaglos 97W19196 (Clear)).

* Tartrazine (E102), indigo carmine (E132), diamond blue FCF (E133).

Contraindication

  • hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
  • hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.

Method of application

The drug is prescribed orally 20-30 minutes before meals, one tablet 3 times a day.

The maximum single dose is one tablet.

The maximum daily dose is 3 tablets.

The duration of the treatment course is 2-4 weeks.

Application features

Pregnant women

The use of the drug is contraindicated (increases uterine tone).

It is not known whether the drug passes into breast milk. Therefore, it should not be used by breastfeeding women.

Children

Due to the lack of experience in children, Stillen should not be prescribed to patients under 18 years of age.

Drivers

No studies have been conducted on the effect of the drug on the ability to drive vehicles and other mechanisms.

Overdose

Studies of overdose cases when using tablets have not been conducted.

Side effects

Gastrointestinal: nausea, anorexia, diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn, and upper abdominal pain have sometimes been observed.

Nervous system: dizziness and headache were sometimes observed.

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Rash and itching were occasionally observed.

On the part of the hepatobiliary system: sometimes an increase in ALT levels was observed.

There have been reports of facial swelling, although a causal relationship with taking the drug “Stillen” has not been established.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life – 3 years.
