Tantivert oral spray is used for the following indications: symptomatic treatment of irritations and inflammations of the oropharynx; pain caused by gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis; in dentistry after tooth extraction or for preventive purposes.

The active substance is benzydamine hydrochloride (1 ml of solution contains benzydamine hydrochloride (calculated on 100% dry matter) 1.5 mg).
Excipients: ethanol 96%, glycerin, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), Menthol flavoring, sodium saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, polysorbate 20, purified water.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or other components of the drug.
When you press the spray dispenser, an aerosol is formed containing one dose of spray – 0.17 ml, which corresponds to 0.255 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride.
Recommended dosage:
Do not exceed recommended doses.
The drug should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The drug can be used in children aged 4 years and older.
When used in recommended doses, the drug has no effect on the ability to drive vehicles and work with other mechanisms.
No overdose of benzydamine has been reported with topical application.
However, it is known that benzydamine, when ingested in large doses (hundreds of times higher than the recommended doses of this dosage form), especially in children, can cause agitation, convulsions, tremor, nausea, increased sweating, ataxia, vomiting. Such an acute overdose requires immediate gastric lavage, treatment of water and electrolyte imbalance and symptomatic treatment, adequate hydration.
Gastrointestinal: burning sensation in the mouth, dry mouth, oral hypoesthesia, nausea, vomiting, swelling and discoloration of the tongue, change in taste.
Immune system disorders: hypersensitivity reactions, anaphylactic reactions.
Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: laryngospasm, bronchospasm.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: photosensitivity, angioedema, rash, itching, urticaria.
From the nervous system: dizziness, headache.
The drug contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate, which may cause allergic reactions (also delayed).
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children.
Shelf life – 2 years.
