Composition

1 tablet contains bismuth nitrate basic in the amount of 282 mg, bismuth oxide – 350 mg, magnesium carbonate heavy in the amount of 168.5 mg; rhizome of the lycorrhiza in powder – 25 mg;

excipients: magnesium stearate, potato starch, talc.

Vicair has a complex effect. Bismuth nitrate basic, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium carbonate heavy have antacid and astringent effects, the bark of the thorn has a laxative effect, and the rhizome of the thorn has an antispasmodic effect.

As part of the complex therapy of gastric and duodenal ulcers, functional dyspepsia, and hyperacid gastritis.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. chronic and inflammatory processes of the intestines and gallbladder; hypoacid gastritis; gastrointestinal bleeding; severe renal dysfunction; acute febrile conditions.

Vicair tablets are taken orally after meals.

Adults – 1-2 tablets (it is better to crush the tablets) 3 times a day after meals, washed down with ½ glass of warm water. The course of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the nature and severity of the disease.

Gastrointestinal tract: increased frequency of defecation, which stops when the dose is reduced, nausea, vomiting, pigmentation of the tongue;

Central nervous system: headache;

From the side of the blood and lymphatic system: hemoglobinemia;

general disorders: swelling of the gums and eyelids;

others: allergic reactions.

During treatment, you should follow a diet.

During treatment with the drug, it is necessary to monitor kidney function and the concentration of bismuth in the blood and urine. When taking the tablets, the stool becomes dark green or black.

It is recommended to take the drug 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking other medications.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding. Vicair should not be used during pregnancy. During breast-feeding, the use of the drug should be discontinued.

Children: There is no experience in children.

Ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or working with other mechanisms. At the moment, there is no data on the negative impact on the reaction rate when driving vehicles or working with other mechanisms.

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Treatment: symptomatic.

When using the drug, the severity of the resorptive effect of tetracycline decreases, since the interaction of tetracyclines with drugs containing magnesium cations forms complexes that are poorly absorbed.

During treatment with the drug, other bismuth-containing drugs should not be taken in order to prevent the risk of increasing the content of bismuth in the blood.

Should not be used simultaneously with alkaloids, glycosides, enzyme preparations and antibiotics.

The drug reduces the absorption of coumarin derivatives.

It is possible to reduce the absorption of other drugs used simultaneously with Vicair. Therefore, the time interval between taking the drugs should be at least 2 hours.
