Pressed lollipops “Lysobact Duo” are used:
- adults and children over 6 years of age for additional local treatment of moderate sore throat without fever;
- as an additional local therapy for diseases:
- oral mucosa and oral cavity: stomatitis (including aphthous), gingivitis;
- Throat: adjuvant treatment of laryngitis and pharyngitis;
- in the pre- and postoperative period for tonsillectomy, laryngeal surgery, injuries or abscesses and after tooth extraction.
Composition
1 pressed lollipop contains (active ingredients):
- lysozyme hydrochloride – 20.0 mg, which corresponds to 800,000 OA FIP;
- cetylpyridinium chloride – 1.5 mg.
Excipients: sorbitol (E 420), povidone, mint flavoring, magnesium stearate.
Contraindication
- hypersensitivity to lysozyme hydrochloride, cetylpyridinium chloride or to any of the excipients, including allergy to lysozyme or allergy to egg protein;
- hypersensitivity to egg white;
- patients with fructose intolerance (due to sorbitol content).
Method of application
The recommended dose for adults and children over 6 years of age is 3-6 lozenges per day. The interval between each subsequent dose of the drug should be at least 2 hours.
The lollipop should be slowly dissolved, keeping the resulting solution in the mouth for some time.
Duration of treatment is 5 days.

Pregnant women
Data on the safety of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding are limited, so the drug should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Children
Not prescribed for children under 6 years of age.
Drivers
The drug does not affect the reaction speed when driving or working with other mechanisms.
Side effects
Immune system disorders: anaphylactic shock, anaphylactic reaction, angioedema.
Skin: urticaria, rash, itching, erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children.
Shelf life – 3 years.
