Zinc ointment 10% is used for the treatment and prevention of diaper dermatitis. Treatment of dermatitis, eczema, diaper rash, minor thermal and sunburns.
Composition
Active ingredient: zinc oxide;
1 g of ointment contains zinc oxide – 100 mg;
Excipients: white soft paraffin.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin and adjacent tissues.
Method of application
Diaper dermatitis in children. For prevention, apply the ointment to clean, dry skin (under diapers), especially before bedtime, to prevent skin irritation due to prolonged contact with wet diapers.
For therapeutic purposes, apply the ointment to the skin in a thin layer 3 times a day (if necessary, during each diaper change) at the first signs of hyperemia (redness of the skin), diaper rash, or minor skin irritation.
Dermatitis, eczema, diaper rash, thermal and sunburn. The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected surface. If necessary, apply a gauze bandage.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the nature and course of the disease.
