Cardisure in tablet form is a complete analogue of Vetmedin. The active ingredient is Pimobendan.

Cardisure has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system of the animal. This drug is prescribed by a veterinarian and the dosage is set based on the tests and the general condition of the animal.

It is prescribed in case of heart failure in an animal caused by valvular insufficiency or dilated cardiomyopathy (symptoms: shortness of breath, cough, decreased activity).

Cardisure affects the liver, so it is forbidden to use it in animals with liver diseases. It is forbidden to use it in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It is necessary to use it with caution in animals with diabetes. It is necessary to constantly monitor the level of glucose in the blood.

Kardishur can be used in parallel with other medications.

The dosage is determined by the doctor. The drug is administered in two doses 1 hour before meals. The recommended daily dose is 0.5 mg of pimobendan per 1 kg of body weight, divided into 2 doses.

Only in case of overdose of the drug are observed – vomiting or chronotropic effect. With the correct dosage, there are no side effects.
