Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the drug should be taken by adults and children over 12 years of age, 2 tablets 3 times a day (total daily dose: 6 tablets) or 50 drops 3 times a day (total daily dose – 150 drops).
The tablets should be swallowed without chewing with a sufficient amount of liquid (e.g. a glass of water).
Adults usually take the drops undiluted. If necessary (for example, the bitter taste for children), the drops are taken with the addition of any liquid. Shake before use! When instilling the drug, the bottle should be held vertically.

The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually. If the drug is well tolerated, it can be prescribed for a long period.
Children: The drug is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug or other plants of the apiaceae family, such as anise, fennel, and to anethole (i.e. a component of essential oils, which contain, for example, anise and fennel).

Edema due to heart failure or kidney dysfunction and/or doctor’s advice to reduce fluid intake.

The drug should not be used in patients with rare hereditary forms of fructose intolerance, galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.
Note for diabetics: 1 tablet contains an average of 0.02 XE.
Drops. During storage, the drug may become cloudy or precipitate, but this does not affect the effect of the drug. This medicine contains 19% ethanol. The drug should not be taken by patients with alcoholism, as well as patients who have completed treatment for alcoholism. The alcohol content of the drug should be taken into account when used in patients at high risk, for example, with liver disease, epilepsy, brain disease.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Pregnancy. Experience from observations of pregnant women (300-1000 newborns) indicates no risk of fetal malformations or fetal/neonatal toxicity of Canephron N tablets.
No signs of reproductive toxicity were found in experimental studies.
The use of Canephron N tablets during pregnancy is possible after consulting a doctor.
Breastfeeding. Due to the lack of data on the excretion of Canephron H or its metabolites into breast milk, a risk to infants cannot be excluded. Therefore, the drug should not be used during breastfeeding.
Ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. The drug in recommended doses does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and work with other mechanisms, but it should be borne in mind that the drug in the form of drops contains ethanol.
If it is necessary to use any other medicines at the same time, you should consult a doctor.
Cases of drug poisoning due to overdose are unknown. Therapy is symptomatic.
Tablets – in the original packaging, this medicinal product does not require any special temperature storage conditions. Drops – in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
