Persen Cardio is a herbal preparation with a mild sedative effect.

The drug contains dry extracts of passionflower herb and hawthorn leaves and flowers.

Preparations containing passionflower herb are used for temporary mental overload, agitation, and insomnia.

Hawthorn leaf and flower extract increases cardiac conduction, improves coronary blood flow and vascular circulation, prevents cardiac arrhythmia and moderately lowers blood pressure.

The effectiveness of the combination of these plants is based on their traditional use. The effects of the medicinal plants complement each other. The combination exhibits moderate sedative and cardiotonic activity.
