Reparon Herbal, rectal ointment, is intended for the relief of symptoms of hemorrhoids and related complications (such as eczema, rectal fissures). It envelops and protects the epidermal (outer) layer of the skin, protects inflamed, itchy skin and thus promotes its regeneration. Reparon Herbal reduces skin dryness, promotes wound healing, reduces the risk of cracks and damage caused by defecation.
In which cases you should not use Reparon Herbal
Do not use the ointment if you are allergic to lanolin or other excipients of this medical product.
Do not use for hemorrhoidal bleeding.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The medical device Reparon Herbal, rectal ointment, is not contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but in these cases it is recommended to consult with the doctor who is treating you.
Interaction with other drugs
There is no data on the interaction of Reparon Herbal rectal ointment with other medications, therefore, before using the medical product Reparon Herbal together with other drugs for rectal use, it is recommended to consult with your treating doctor or pharmacist.
Simultaneous use of rectal ointment and condoms may reduce contraceptive effectiveness.
Composition
Sucralfate, cocoa butter, lanolin (vegetable origin), petrolatum, white beeswax, purified water, caprylyl glycol, calendula extract, chamomile extract, witch hazel extract.
How to use Reparon Herbal
Always use the medical device according to the instructions for use.
If used differently than described in the instructions, improvement may not occur or irritation may occur.
Wash your hands before using Reparon Herbal rectal ointment.
Recommended dose: Apply the ointment to the skin around the anal opening 1 or 2 times a day.
openings, if possible – after defecation and taking a sitz bath, or inject a small amount of ointment (approximately 1-2 cm) using an applicator. Make sure that the applicator is properly screwed onto the tube.
Before use, make sure that the packaging is not opened and the medical device is not damaged. Do not use the ointment if the packaging is damaged.
After use, wash the applicator with warm soapy water and close the tube with the protective cap.
Always wash your hands after using rectal ointment. The applicator can be used
only one patient.
Do not allow the ointment to get into the eyes or on the skin around the eyes, into the mouth or on the mucous membranes of the oral cavity. If the ointment gets into these areas, wipe or wash it off. When using rectal ointment, the use of sanitary pads is recommended.
The duration of use of the ointment depends on the speed of improvement of the condition. It is possible to use it without a break for 4 weeks.
See your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within 1-2 weeks.
Possible side effect
The use of any topical product, especially with prolonged use, may cause allergic reactions, symptoms of which include: burning sensation, itching, soreness, redness. If such symptoms develop while using this medical device, you should stop using the ointment and consult a doctor.

Expiration date and storage conditions
The expiration date is indicated on the packaging and on the tube.
The expiration date and batch number are indicated on the sealed part of the tube.
Do not use the medical device after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C in a place protected from light.
