Pharmacological properties of Stomach drops
Stomach drops is combined drug of plant origin. has antispasmodic and analgesic properties. has a complex effect: central – sedative, due to the predominant suppression of ascending activating effects on the reticular formation of the brain, and peripheral – antispasmodic, which is due to the suppression of the conduction of spasmogenic impulses to smooth muscle cells, located mainly in the abdominal organs. The mechanism of the analgesic effect of the drug is due to the prevention and elimination of smooth muscle spasms and thereby reducing the excitation of nociceptive receptors located in them.
Indication
As an antispasmodic for stomach ulcers, gallstone disease and other diseases accompanied by spasms of the smooth muscles of the abdominal organs, as well as for bradycardia caused by vagotonia.
Application
Inside, 10-15 drops 2-3 times a day.
Contraindication
Glaucoma, hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
