Indications for use Surgical plaster
LEOPED is used for dressing wounds after operations and providing first aid.
Advantages of Surgical plaster
- Gamma sterilization of each dressing
- Soft non-woven backing provides aseptic wound protection
- The pad consists of a film that allows exudate to pass through and a viscose layer that acts as a natural tampon.
- Does not stick to the wound
- Microporous structure ensures skin ventilation
Features
- Thanks to the elastic non-woven surface, it is easily applied to any part of the body, the perforated base allows the skin to breathe.
- The pad inside the bandage consists of several layers – the upper microperforated film, which passes all wound exudate through the so-called valves and at the same time prevents the bandage from sticking to the wound, the viscous layer, which performs the functions of a natural tampon, and the lower perforated film, which retains exudate and exudate inside the tampon.
All these components provide an ideal microclimate of the wound surface under the bandage, due to which wound healing is significantly accelerated. The adhesive plaster is hypoallergenic, suitable for use in patients with both normal and highly sensitive skin.
