Lasea is an anxiolytic.
Indications for use
For the treatment of mild to moderate forms of anxiety disorders with symptoms such as nervous tension, irritability and restlessness.
Composition
- active ingredient: lavender oil Silexan (Lavandula angustifolia) WS 1265;
- 1 capsule contains 80 mg of lavender oil Silexan (Lavandula angustifolia) WS 1265;
- excipients: succinic gelatin, glycerol 85%, refined rapeseed oil, non-crystallizing sorbitol solution.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to lavender oil or to any of the components of the drug. Liver dysfunction. Children’s age (up to 18 years).
Adverse reactions
Gastrointestinal disorders: common: eructation; frequency unknown: other gastrointestinal disorders.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders/immune system disorders: frequency unknown: allergic skin reactions.
In isolated cases, severe hypersensitivity reactions with swelling, circulatory problems and/or breathing problems have been reported. In such cases, you should seek immediate medical attention.
If hypersensitivity reactions occur, Lasea should be discontinued.
Method of application
Adults: 1 capsule per day (corresponding to 80 mg of lavender oil).
Capsules should be taken without chewing, with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water). Lasea is not recommended to be taken in a lying position.
The duration of treatment depends on the course and severity of the disease and is determined by the doctor individually. If after 2 weeks of treatment there is no improvement or, conversely, there is a worsening of symptoms, it is necessary to stop treatment and consult a doctor.
Application features
Excipients
Lasea contains 12 mg of sorbitol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
There are no clinical data on the use of lavender oil during pregnancy. Lavender should not be used during pregnancy.
The safety of use during breastfeeding has not been studied. It is not known whether the components of lavender oil or their metabolites pass into breast milk. Lasea should not be used during lactation.
Children
Not for use in children (under 18 years of age).
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
Lasea may slightly affect the reaction rate when driving or using other mechanisms. If drowsiness occurs after taking the drug, it is recommended to avoid driving or using other mechanisms.
Overdose
There have been no reports of overdose.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Lasea should not be taken with other anxiolytic, sedative drugs or alcohol due to the lack of clinical data on possible interactions.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, out of the reach of children.
