The drug Cyclodynon is a herbal medicine for the treatment of menstrual disorders. The components of the drug have a normalizing effect on the level of sex hormones. The dopaminergic effect of the drug leads to a decrease in prolactin production and the elimination of hyperprolactinemia. An increased concentration of prolactin disrupts the secretion of gonadotropins, as a result of which follicle maturation, ovulation and an imbalance between the levels of estradiol and progesterone may be disturbed. This imbalance between sex hormones causes menstrual disorders, as well as mastodynia. Prolactin also has a direct stimulating effect on proliferative processes in the mammary glands, enhancing the formation of connective tissue and causing dilation of the milk ducts. A decrease in prolactin content leads to the regression of these changes and the elimination of pain in the mammary glands. Rhythmic production and normalization of the ratio of gonadotropic hormones contribute to the normalization of the second phase of the menstrual cycle.

Hypersensitivity to common willow or other components of the drug.

Allergic reactions, including skin rashes, hives, facial swelling, shortness of breath and difficulty swallowing, as well as cases of gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, abdominal pain), headache and dizziness, acne, and menstrual irregularities, have been reported after the use of medicines containing the fruit of common willow.

Common willow fruit may have a positive effect on female fertility by regulating the menstrual cycle.

Patients with current or past estrogen-dependent tumors, as well as patients taking agonists, dopamine antagonists, estrogens and antiestrogens, should consult a doctor before using the drug. If there is a history of pituitary disorders, a doctor should be consulted before using the drug, since the fruits of common verbena affect the hypothalamic-pituitary system. In the case of prolactin-secreting pituitary tumors, the use of common verbena may mask the symptoms of the tumor.

Cyclodynon tablets contain lactose. The drug should not be taken by patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Note for diabetics. Since the drug does not contain a significant amount of bread units, Cyclodynon can be used by diabetics.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding (may lead to decreased lactation).

Ability to influence the speed of reactions when driving vehicles or working with other mechanisms. If dizziness is noted during treatment, you should refrain from driving vehicles or working with mechanisms.

Children: Due to insufficient data, the drug is not recommended for use in children.

Interaction with dopamine agonists, antagonists, estrogens and antiestrogens is not excluded due to the possible dopaminergic and estrogenic effects of common verbena.

In case of overdose, treatment is symptomatic.

In the original packaging, protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. An opened bottle should be used within 6 months. During storage of the solution, a precipitate may form, which may indicate a decrease in the activity of the drug.
