Kelotan gel is a light and quick-drying silicone gel for topical use, intended for the treatment of old and new scars after surgical operations, traumatic injuries, wounds and burns.
Kelotan Gel helps in the treatment or prevention of excessive and large scars.

Silicone gels have shown their effectiveness in treating pathological scarring in the form of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
Kelotan Gel® dries within minutes, creating an elastic, breathable, waterproof silicone layer on the affected area. This invisible silicone layer bonds to the outer layer of the skin, protecting the surrounding tissues from chemical, physical and microbial damage, and providing an optimal healing environment, which improves the aesthetic appearance of the scar.
Indications for use
Kelotan gel is intended for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars that occur as a result of burns, general surgery, and traumatic injuries.
Kelotan Gel is suitable for use on the face and body. Kelotan Gel can be used in the area of joints, folds, hairy areas and large scars, for example, caused by burns or serious injuries.
Kelotan gel is suitable for use in children from 3 months and people with sensitive skin.
Method of application
For external use only. Apply Kelotan Gel® in a thin layer to the affected area of skin, previously cleaned and dried, twice a day. After drying, the application site can be covered with elastic clothing, sunscreen or cosmetics. If it does not dry within 4-5 minutes, too much gel has probably been used. Carefully remove the excess and let it dry.
The recommended duration of use is 60-90 days. For large or old scars, treatment may take longer.
To prevent hypertrophic scars and keloids, apply Kelotan Gel immediately after wound healing or suture removal.
Application features
For external use only.
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the components of Kelotan Gel.
Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third-degree burns or open wounds.
Kelotan Gel is not recommended for use in dermatological diseases that compromise the integrity of the skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
If not completely dry, Kelotan Gel may stain clothing. Keep away from sources of ignition and do not smoke during application or while drying.
Composition
Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, isopropyl myristate, silicone elastomer gel.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry place at a temperature below 30 ºC.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
After first opening the tube, the product should be used within 24 months.
