Oftalmodek eye drops 0.2 mg/ml bottle 5 ml

The active substance is decamethoxine (1 ml of solution contains decamethoxine in terms of 100% substance 0.2 mg).

Excipients: sodium chloride, purified water.

Hypersensitivity to decamethoxine or other components of the drug.

For the treatment of acute and chronic conjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, gonoblennorrhea, and chlamydial conjunctival lesions, “Oftalmodek” should be instilled into the conjunctival sac 2-3 drops 4-6 times a day until complete recovery.

To prevent blenorrhea in newborns, two drops of the drug are instilled into the eyes immediately after birth and 2 hours after delivery.

For preventive purposes, “Oftalmodek” should be prescribed 2-3 drops 4-6 times a day one day before surgery and for 3-5 days after surgery.

Immerse contact lenses in the drug solution for 10-15 minutes, then rinse in sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution.

Pregnant women

The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible only when the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child.

Children

The drug should be used in newborns to prevent blenorrhea.

Drivers

Patients who experience blurred vision after instillation of the drug should refrain from driving or operating machinery.

No cases of overdose were noted.

Allergic reactions and eye irritation are possible with increased individual sensitivity to decamethoxin.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life – 3 years (after opening the bottle – 14 days).
